1. Tell me about your job./ What job do you do?
Every single time I happen to give a self-introduction, the first piece of information I would bring up is the fact that I am a language teacher, a tutor, and a teaching assistant.
2. Why did you choose this job?
It would actually take me several minutes to explain how I became fully committed to pursuing an education occupation. First and foremost, it fits my personality and enables me to make the best of my comprehensive knowledge and academic experience. It also guarantees my financial self-sufficiency in the long run. Ultimately, such a job evokes in me a true sense of utmost pride.
3. What do you like about your job?
I must admit that being a language teacher is so rewarding. It mainly involves passing on valuable knowledge to people of all ages and from diverse cultures where English is not their mother tongues in the first place. This fact alone offers me a great deal of opportunities to improve and advance myself further among societies beyond my motherland.
4. How long have you been doing this job?
To be precise, my career began in early 2018.
5. Is there anything you don’t like?
I don’t think my answer to this question will ever change. Absolutely not. Teaching undoubtedly benefits me in multiple ways all the time.

Eg: This pair of jeans fits you so well!
=> enable: khiến cho có thể
Eg: Learning from the past would enable us to reap success in the future.
=> make the best of: tận dụng một cách hiệu quả nhất có thể
Eg: We may not get another chance, so we must make the best of this golden opportunity.
=> comprehensive: tổng thể, toàn diện
Eg: A comprehensive workout aims to exercise each of the major muscle groups in the body.
=> financial self-sufficiency: việc tự túc về tài chính
Eg: Their humble financial self-sufficiency has kept them in poverty for three generations.
=> in the long run: về lâu dài
Eg: You may want to quit school now, but you will regret it in the long run.
=> evoke: gợi lên
Eg: Different colors evoke different emotions.
=> a sense of: sự cảm nhận về
Eg: As a dying person, he has no sense of fear at all.
=> utmost: vô cùng, hết sức
Eg: We cannot thank him enough for his utmost kindness.
=> pride: niềm hãnh diện
Eg: My father has never taken pride in his own son.

Eg: Making pots can be a satisfying and rewarding hobby for many people.

Eg: The treatment does not involve the use of any artificial drugs.
=> pass on: truyền đạt
Eg: I didn’t hear much news that I could pass on to you.
=> mother tongue: tiếng mẹ đẻ
Eg: I had no idea your mother tongue was Cantonese.
=> in the first place: ngay từ đầu
Eg: Charles asked me out for dinner in the first place.
=> offer (as a verb): đưa ra, mang lại
Eg: She offered me a ride home.
=> a great deal of: vô cùng nhiều
Eg: I was still not convinced that she had made such a great deal of money the previous year.
=> motherland: quê hương
Eg: He devoted most of his life to the motherland.
=> to be precise: chính xác là
Eg: It was 6:23pm to be precise.
=> undoubtedly: chắc chắn
Eg: She undoubtedly feels affection for you.
=> benefit (as a verb): mang đến lợi ích/hưởng lợi
Eg: My little brother is stressed, and we believe a vacation would benefit him.
