Model Answer:

What comes up to my mind as I read this topic is a vivid image of a person whom I consider one of the greatest teachers this life has granted me. She was the English teacher for sixth-grade classes at my middle school, and her full name was Nguyễn Thị Diệu Tâm. You might be wondering how both her name and her appearance have stuck in my mind for such a long time. It would be quite an interesting story to share.

At school, Ms. Tâm was a perfect role model for all the other teachers and students to learn from. Her teaching methods were admirably outstanding, and she never failed to convince her students of English as a fascinating language to explore, not a stressful subject to wrap their heads around. Not only did she always remain in the role of an industrious and highly responsible teacher, but Ms. Tâm also acted as a truly kindhearted friend everyboby would love to cherish.

There was a time I got so frustrated by something that I just sat alone in the corner of the classroom, not wanting to talk to anybody. Ms. Tâm was the only one who walked to me, sat down by my side, and started saying, “I know you’re going through a really tough time, but you’ve got to understand that sometimes having a shoulder to cry on or someone to lend you an ear, if not the best cure for your depression, is undoubtedly an effective way to relieve you of a considerable degree of the discomfort you’ve had for some time. You should never keep in you heart anything that disturbs you all the time; you’ve got to let it go, and one way of doing that is to share your feelings with the person that you know you can totally rely on.” At that very moment, I came to realize that Ms. Tâm was meant to be my second family. Even right now, I don’t think my memories of her can ever fade away; in fact, they may last for eternity.
